LEEDS UNITED SET TICKET PRICES

Leeds United have published the details regarding the ticket prices for the new season - only just ahead of UEFA publishing it's prices for a Euro 2012 Ticket. Meanwhile, tickets for Leeds’ home pre-season game against Newcastle on Sunday, July 31, have gone on sale to members and season-ticket holders. Prices are £15 for adults and £8 concessions, while Bremner Suite tickets cost £20.

ICC WANTS END TO TICKET FIASCO

Within days of the World Cup’s official ticketing website crashing because of overload, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has asked the tournament’s central organising committee to get its act together or face serious consequences.

ICC’s legal head David Becker, in a letter to organising committee chairman Sharad Pawar, has said that the hosts will have to bear the cost of the compensation claims that the commercial partners and disgruntled fans are threatening because of the ticketing mess.

TAMPA BAY FREEZE TICKETS

Tampa Bay Lightning full and partial season tickets holders can freeze their package prices for the 2011-12 season if they renew by March 25, the team announced Wednesday.

The price freeze also applies to 2011 playoff tickets.

All full-, half- and 10-game season ticket holders are eligible for the price freeze if they make a 20 percent deposit before the March 25 deadline. In addition to the price freeze, account holders also will have the option to pay for playoff tickets at the end of each round rather than in advance.
